Burnaby Village Museum & Carousel
Step back in time and rediscover our urban heritage at an authentic turn of the century town and rekindle romance on the restored vintage 1912 carousel. Costumed townsfolk welcome visitors to their shops and homes with demonstrations and fascinating hands on activities. Old-fashioned fun for all ages May through September and during Heritage Christmas in December!

Canada Day Celebration
Celebrate Canada's Birthday at Richmond park with children's activities, games, entertainment, information booths and of course, birthday cake for everyone! Bring a picnic or sample some tasty treats. If the weather's bad, the party moves indoors to Eastburn Community Centre.

Night of 2007 Lights Lantern Festival
Presented by City of Burnaby, in association with Public Dreams Society. Join the lantern procession led by African djembe drummers, with performances and illuminated lantern installations along the route. A spectacular fire show concludes the evening.
